Tim Ford

Tim is a Business Improvement Consultant and lives in Echuca.

He grew up in England and completed a Master’s Degree in Integrated Engineering from Cardiff University.

Tim started his working life as an Industrial Engineer for a company manufacturing heavy forklift trucks in the sunny Welsh Valleys of the UK. It was here that he started his career in Production Management, taking control of the fabrication, paint and assembly areas whilst learning and applying Lean Manufacturing Principles. Tim moved to Australia in 2012 and found a Production Management position at an overhead gantry crane manufacturer in Melbourne. This role allowed him to build on his experience with leading teams of fabricators, electricians and fitters to manufacture bespoke capital equipment.

After 6 years working and living in Melbourne, Tim made the move to Echuca and following a short stint in the packaging manufacturing industry in Shepparton, Tim found a role at Foodmach. He became the Operations Manager, overseeing Logistics, Procurement, Spare Parts and everything to do with the manufacture of packaging machines, including the installation at customer sites. More recently, Tim changed disciplines and was responsible for the Finance and Administration section of Foodmach and was heavily involved in improvement initiatives to continue to drive efficiencies through the company.

Since leaving Foodmach, Tim has started to help small to medium sized businesses find ways to identify and drive improvements, including Digital Transformation Support, Leadership Coaching and Team Development.

Tim is excited to apply his knowledge and experience to help C4EM continue to be a supporter of our local community.
